Sicilian orange wine made with 5 days skin contact of white grapes grown organically on Mount Etna. Farming is all organic, with the blend being 40% Carricante, 30% Catarratto, 10% Malvasia Bianca and the rest hodgepodge of other Sicilian varieties like Minnella, Inzolia, and Grecanico. Spontaneous fermentation are used in all Etnella wines and they have very low thresholds of added sulfites, which are used only if necessary. The wine is aged in chestnut barrels, a Mount Etna winemaking tradition the winery has embraced.
