Traditional Georgian amber, or orange, wine made from organically grown grapes. Kisi and Khikhvi are native white berried grape varieties of Georgia, here given an extended period of skin contact that extracts tannic flavors and gives the wine an orange-like hue. All Pheasant's Tears wines are fermented and aged in the qvevri, earthernware vessels that are buried in the earth.

"Our Kisi and Khikhvi bineyards are located in Tibaani, Kakheti. The Soil is brown alluvial, with sandstone and lime rock. Both grapes are endemic Georgian varieties praised for its notes of eastern spices and dry herbs."
