Jean-Claude Rateau began working his vines organically as soon as he graduated winemaking school in the 1970s. In Burgundy this made him a true pioneer. He has made it a mission to pass on his organic and biodynamic techniques to younger winemakers. Clos des Mariages is a selection of both young and old vines from limestone and clay plots. Aged in all old oak barrels after 20 days of open tank fermentation with native yeasts. Intended to be drank young, very good with coq au vin.
