Nouveau white wine from the Czech Republic! Ready just 4 months after harvest and made without any added sulfur. A blend of Pinot Gris and Neuburger, a more recent Austrian cross of Roter Veltliner and Sylvaner that's makes full-bodied white. Organic farming, no oak contact.
From the mouth of the importer (Jenny & Francois):
"Milan Nestarec’s vineyards comprise of 8-hectares across two wine growing municipalities: Moravský Žižkov and Velké Bílovice. No herbicides are used and the vines are worked organically. Milan believes that gentle methods of growing grapevines and grape processing gives the best result.
The grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed. The juice ferments in 2000-liter stainless steel tanks. The wine ferments for about 2 months, with occasional piegeage and indigenous yeast fermentation. Elevage takes place in the same tanks for about 2 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered, unfined, and with zero sulfur added."
