An orange-rose wine, made with both pink and white skinned grapes from an organic Czech winery. 40% Pinot Gris, 40% Gewurtztraminer and 20% Pinot Blanc all left on their skins for three weeks. All wild yeasts, no sulfites added and no filtering. Aromatic, cirtusy, complex and a bit funky.
From the mouth of the importer (Jenny & Francois):
"Dluhe grefty (Dluhe – long, greft – a word from an old dialect in Mutěnice; it means “long vineyard rows.” Jaroslav Tesařik and his family are taking care of 1.5 hectare in Mutenice. The mission is to find the terroir of Mutenice village. They work on 8 different small plots, all treatments are done organically. The total production is 5000 bottles per year."
