A medium-bodied, buoyant red from the south of Italy. L'Acino is a project of three Calabrian natives, none of which were involved in viticulture or winemaker previously, but want to showcase what the local terroir and grapes could do. Organically farmed grapes, wild ferments and no filtering or sulfur additions.

"Magliocco/Garnacha Nera. Like the white Chora from L'Acino, this wine comes from their younger vines, planted on a sandy hillside from massal cuttings from older vines in 2007. The organically farmed fruit is harvested by hand, crusehd partly in whole-clusters and fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts and without the addition of sulfur. The wine is aged in tank before bottled unfiltered and lightly sulfured in the spring following the vintage. It is a soft, easy, juicy, quaffable red."
