A deeply colored, very dry and tart rose from the farm southern end of the Italian peninsula. L'Acino is an organic grape growing and winemaking operation run by three natives of Calabria, who have made it a mission of theirs to revived and expound the virtues of the native varieties. This rose is largely the local grape called Magliocco, with some Granacha thrown in. Younger vines that are not treated with pesticides with low levels sulfites employees in the winemaking.
