A Connecticut native that got fed up with the formalized wine world and retreated to Lazio, Italy to make rustic, old school wines without chemicals, as in no sulfur added at any point. The Rosso Ale is made of the native varietal called Aleatico, an aromatic red that is a cousin of the muscat family of grapes. Dry and fragrant with flavors of damson plums and violet flower. Stunningly good and very quaffable.
