A medium-bodied, dry red wine made in the Loire but from grapes harvested in Bordeaux. Having had very low yielding vintages because of weather in the Loire, Mortier decided to source organic grapes from further south. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, but made in a very hands off fashion with wild yeasts and no filtering. 12 days of semi-carbonic maceration to bring out the fruit and make a softer wine.
