Organic Chenin Blanc grown in one of northernmost appellations of the Loire Valley, full of stony mineral and crisp baked apple notes. Incredibly racy on the palate, with a long finish and mild hints of stemmy wood and tart greens. Fermented with native yeast and vegan friendly. Only a small amount produced, a lot of wine for under $20.

"The AOP of Côteaux du Vendômois was officially formed in 2001, but the history of wine production goes back as far as the 11th century. There is a large cooperative producing 60% of total AOP production and only 13 private producers in the appellation.
100% Chenin Blanc, from 20 to 30 year old vines, grown on schist soil. The grapes are harvested mid-October. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for 5 months. This dry white is both fruity and mineral, with great freshness on the palate. 833 cases produced. 13% alcohol."
