A unique and dry Riesling from a natural, terroit-driven winemaker based in Middleport, New York. The grapes are from three different vineyards in both the Niagara Escarpment and the Finger Lakes grape growing regions of New York. Harvested only at full ripeness and 10% fermented with the skins, the results are a complex and powerful wine the winemaker compares to Rhone whites. Spontaneous fermentation, minimal dosing with sulfur, and aging is done in neutral barrels prior to bottling unfined and unfiltered.
