A refreshing Spanish white that is dry, salty, apple-y, smoky and all sorts complex. It is the native variety called Viura, also known as Macabeo, and can be used to make excellent quality white. The vines are over 50 years old and planted in the heights of Rioja Alta. Biodynamic farming, no sulfur is used in the winemaking, and left unfiltered.
