A smokey medium-bodied red that is a blend of 20% Otskhanuri Sapere and 80% Tsolikouri, which is actually a white grape. Archil Guniava does this as he feels the red is too heavy alone and doesn't work with food as well as when blend with the white. He inherited his family's small winemaking operation, something is managing on the side from his main career in forestry. Only possessing 1 hectare of vines he has a tiny production of only 2000 bottles annually. Organic farming, no additives are used, traditional qvervi techniques for the fermentation and aging.
