One of the most prestigious appellations of the Rhone Valley, Cornas is famous for its wines made completely of syrah. The winemaker for "Terre Brulée" is Ludovic Izerable, who married into the Lionnet family who has been cultivating grapes and making wine in Cornas since 1575. The vineyards are certified organic harvested manually, then natural fermentation is over 3 weeks with indigenous yeasts and no new oak. Imported by Kermit Lynch.
